This is why I created Socials Brewing. Being a veteran social media marketer, I want to create something that will help you with the long-term success of your business and marketing. I started social media because I love people and the psychology behind marketing is absolutely fascinating.

Have you ever just watched people at an airport or at a party? It’s pure absolutely diverting, you can learn so much about people just by watching and observing.

A good social media marketer will tell you it’s all about content. They will talk to you endlessly about how hashtags are important and how your Reels and TikToks need to have a hook, value and conclusion. They aren’t wrong… but there’s more to it.

A great social media marketer will tell you it’s all about observing, learning, and applying that knowledge. It’s about learning when to adapt and when to plant yourself like a tree and say no… you move. It’s about understanding that it’s more than just the content you put out, but how to lead your community down a path. It’s about knowing the difference between SEO on Pinterest and YouTube.

That’s the shit I get excited for, I get the opportunity to test and measure, I get to experiment and play. I get to talk to more and more people, gain a new perspective, and better understand their desires and challenges.

I love social media, I love marketing because at the heart of it. It’s about the communities, it’s about people.

Have you ever baked a cake? Did you know that if you whipped the sugar and butter for longer you’ll get a much moister cake? It’s because you broke down the sugar crystals. There are tons of tiny nuances and tricks that you may not know but completely changes the outcome. I’ve been practicing this art of marketing for a long time and I understand the intricacies beyond just one or two social media platforms. Social media marketing takes years of trial and error, risk-taking and experimentation, but just like cooking and baking, THAT’S how you become good at it.

I strive to give my clients the best possible experience with their social media efforts because I know what it’s like to put in all that energy and not understand why it’s not working. I understand how frustrating it can be when you’re working with an agency but all they talk about is growth and content metrics.

We know that many agencies out there always try to downplay the failures, we highlight them because those learnings are just as important, if not more so.
